The Eric Hassli era at Toronto FC officially came to an end on Feb. 4, 2013, when the French striker and Designated Player was traded to FC Dallas in exchange for a conditional second round pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.

Former club president and GM Kevin Payne told this reporter at the time that TFC would pay "a very small portion" of Hassli’s salary for 2013 as part of the trade, but he declined to reveal the exact amount.
