This is the latest instalment of a semi-regular feature series at TFC Republic where we will speak to an Apple TV commentator about the current state of Toronto FC.

This week: Vancouver-based play-by-play man Blake Price offers his view on the Reds, their in injury situation, being in the booth for Luka Gavran's goal, and much more.

This Q&A has been lightly edited and trimmed for brevity and clarity.

You've called several of Toronto FC's matches this season for Apple TV. What's been your overall impression of the team?

They're obviously better than last year and certainly have more arrows in their quiver. But the injuries have prevented Robin Fraser from really looking at the team as a completed project by any stretch of the imagination. You always have to account for injuries, but I don't know that he's had even 80 per cent of the squad to work with. And especially the critical ones, Djordje Mihailovic and Richie Laryea, really take away from what they're trying to do.
