A source confirmed to TFC Republic that Toronto FC is finalizing a transfer deal for midfielder Niklas Dorsch from German club FC Heidenheim. News of the transfer was first reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Quick analysis: GM Jason Hernandez made his intentions very clear before the MLS summer transfer window opened when he said the central midfield was an area he was looking to bolster on his roster.
The addition of German midfielder Niklas Dorsch should help significantly strengthen the middle of the park for TFC.
