Toronto FC vs. New England Revolution: 3 takeaways
TFC's search for goals continues, but on the positive side, they're not conceding any and have tightened things up at the back.
Robin Fraser saw the glass as half full following Toronto FC's 0-0 road draw vs. the New England Revolution on Wednesday.
While TFC extended their goal-less drought to 236 minutes, they also recorded their second consecutive clean sheet (and third of the season) in a stalemate at Gillette Stadium.
“We've had two shutouts in a row on the road, so I look at that as progress. I feel like we were leaking soft goals going into the break, and you look at the determination and the coordination with which we have defended, certainly, that's progress,” Fraser said.
In the latest video blog, I discuss my three major takeaways from Wednesday's match.
