TFC Talk: A record breaking night for the Reds

Toronto FC are coming off two big wins, but much tougher tests are immediately ahead for John Herdman's side.

Toronto FC is through to the semifinals of the 2024 Canadian Championship following an 8-1 beatdown of semi-pro side CS Saint-Laurent on Tuesday at BMO Field.

Deandre Kerr scored a first-half hat trick and added a fourth goal after halftime, while Cassius Mailula, and substitutes Derrick Etienne Jr. and Prince Owusu also scored for the Reds. Toronto played with a man advantage from the 45th minute onward after Saint-Laurent midfielder Ossama Boughanmi was red carded.
