TFC Tidbits: Nicklas Dorsch goes straight back into starting 11

The German midfielder is included in the first 11 vs. Nashville SC on Wednesday after missing the last three games due to injury.

With Toronto FC mired in a tight playoff race, coach Robin Fraser isn’t wasting any time to get Niklas Dorsch back into the first 11.

Dorsch is included in TFC’s starting lineup for Wednesday’s home match vs. Supporters’ Shield leaders Nashville SC, which will mark his first taste of action since a 3-3 home draw vs. Charlotte FC on Aug. 19. The German midfielder suffered a facial fracture in the final minutes of that game that required surgery.

Hernandez was “quite satisfied” with the business that TFC were able to conduct during the MLS secondary transfer window.

TFC will put their six-game unbeaten run on the line when they welcome the best team in MLS to BMO Field on Wednesday.
