Lack of unity at TFC has to be addressed before anything else
Toronto FC did not live up to its famous “All For One” motto this season. Rather, it was torn apart by divisions and lacked unity.
Sean Johnson didn’t flinch or hesitate in the slightest when the question was posed to him.
At Toronto FC’s year-end media availability earlier this month, TFC Republic asked the veteran goalkeeper point blank if the Reds were a unified team during its ill-fated 2023 campaign.
Rather than hemming and hawing or giving a safe answer, Johnson laid the brutal truth bare for all to hear.
“No, this was not a unified group, to be honest,” he replied.
