Last weekend's 2-0 road loss to the New York Reds Bulls was another learning moment this season for TFC's young players.
Bob Bradley admitted after the game that some of his kids struggled to deal with the pace and New York's physicality as the game wore on.
“I still think that we don’t have enough guys that when the games are fast and have a little more of a physical element are at the level they need to be,” Bradley explained. “[But] That’s part of the growth of young guys.”
Bradley should stick with his youth movement. But at the same time, Toronto could clearly use some more experienced players while the kids continue to develop and learn on the job.
In the latest TFC Republic video blog, I discuss how the Reds need to think about addressing the imbalance on their roster between veterans and youngsters.
